The number of saxaphone solos from 1982-1987 make that time period sound empty. It was crowded but we always lived on the edge of the suburbs. Between the school rush at 3pm & the commuter rush at 5pm, it was empty.

$2.5 million sounds about right for the male millennials who got married. The big question for lions is when he says his net worth & income are severely down. Most of generation X were paper millionaires in 1999 through stonk options. Most millennials became paper millionaires through bitcoin. That's the only way your net worth can be severely down without buying anything. The stonk market is break even for the year. He alludes to not being vested in his stonk options when he says he's still invested in his company.
Lions have never factored employee stonk options into net worth. If lions had a buck for every employee pool share they've been awarded, they'd be billionaires. They've always been worthless. Still, most of the men who got married are engineering directors & $2.5 million sounds like the ball park for current 35 year olds.
The lion kingdom has no desire for a nice house like that guy. Just a shop is enough.
