Our 1st view of the innards of the titan came from the auto recommended interview.  The most intriguing bit for lions was the fact that they heard carbon fiber strands breaking during pressure testing.  Then the breaks stopped & they called it good to go.  This is a common theme.  Aracebo had a similar breakage of strands ongoing, but they lived with it.  Aracebo had an advantage in a failure being more progressive than a submarine.

 

 When lions envision the stress on a cylinder that could cause strand breakage, it's compression of the top & bottom halves & expansion of the sides.  The inner strands on the top & bottom would break & the outer strands on the sides would break.  


 A lot of gootubers for clicks have blamed failure of the window, but since the carbon fiber was never recovered it obviously was the part that failed.

 

 Another interesting bit was how the titanium end pieces condensed water.  Water gradually pooled under the floor & poured out when they opened the door.

The interviewee was very positive about the operation because he was employed there.  The big question for lions was why they didn't use explosive bolts on the door.  1 of the fears was that they were stuck inside, on the surface.


 


 A new simulation shows it imploding evenly from all sides & the 2 hemispheres whamming into each other.  It reflects more of a defect free cylinder while a cylinder with a defect might implode on 1 axis. 

 Based on the time, there were 15ms from when something starting to move to disappearance of the habitable volume.  It took 25ms for the hemispheres to slam into each other.  An animal in the cylinder might have sensed a tingle.  An animal in a hemisphere might have been unconscious from the acceleration before ever getting whammed.  Still most likely, they never sensed anything.

Good for them.  The times when the lion parents were separated were bliss, but young lion wasn't aware of the fiscal impact.  It's a big deal for rulers to separate, even though it's expected of plebeians.

The lion kingdom got to thinking it bought land in 2006 as a hedge against the inflation of the last 20 years, not as a status symbol or a way to get rich.  Houses going to $600,000 was supposed to not matter because lions already put money in at 2006 prices.  Lions should need the same amount of money to retire that was needed 20 years ago or at least it should be limited to health insurance inflation.  Basing retirement age on health insurance inflation is a ridiculous already.

Its theatric run over in 1 month, Project Hail Mary arrived on the hard drive in short order.   After running the Michael Jackson movie for just a week, the IMAX theater now seems to be derelict.  They could be reserving it for private screenings or it could be too expensive to operate.
