After a 12 mile day that ended in pain, managed to do an intense 4 mile walk the next day, then a fast 2.8 in 20:32 another day later. The fast 2.8 gave way to a painful 3 mile return. Alternating every other day seems to give an impressive short term recovery even from painful beginnings. Lions still can't hit 40 miles/week anymore.
Lions consider the sub 7:20 speed to be not very stressful. Before arthritis, it only took 1 day to recover. The sub 6:30 speed is stressful.
It's been away & now it's back. Lions can handle 2 cups per day before lactose apocalypse. The hope is it can shock the cartilage into growing, in case there's a diet deficiency. The true limitation is genetics.
It tastes a lot richer after 10 years away. Lions can once again eat it straight without sugar. The price is largely the same as 10 years ago: $20.

Reviewing the world travels of the top tier coworkers, they definitely are in search of something to do. They're not very good at doing anything but dabble in a set of activities others have defined as the essential rich man's activities. The most striking feature is they don't create their own path. They do what they're told to do, even after they become wealthy enough to not need a boss. That is of course how to make the most money.
The average silicon valley programmer can retire much younger than the average worker yet lives alone in a tiny apartment & has no relationships. Only the very wealthy have houses, relationships, sex.
Of course, these days the top tier doesn't have to live near silicon valley. They can be called flyover state workers. The only ones still geographically locked down enough to be silicon valley workers are the average. It might be more fair to call them technology workers.

The lion kingdom long wondered if there was a small chance of someone climbing down the stringers. In this case, someone had his feet on 1 stringer & back on another stringer, managing to descend 20 stories before finally falling.
All the closeups of animals appear to have been copyrighted, hence why history seems to have been cleansed. There were many attempts to climb down the stringers, but everyone fell.
Here we see the stringers were actually not deep enough to fit a sideways body in between. He might get 1 foot & 1 shoulder on, if he was lucky. There was no way to get enough leverage to keep from slipping out or running out of energy.
They weren't far apart enough for someone to straddle.
The stringers cut off at the very bottom, many stories above the ground. Whether someone could have survived the last drop onto concrete is a moot point though.
So what would a lion have done? The leading theory was to get on the roof & as high up on the radio tower as possible. Only 1 tower had a radio tower. The object of the game would be to get on a piece of debris that landed on top.
Another idea was to make a rope out of electrical wiring, try to climb below the fire & break a window with an axe.
Apparently, all the stair cases & interior spaces were completely on fire or smoked out above the fire so there was no way to move to the roof or scavenge on the same floor. Only a small number of animals in the south tower were close enough to a surviving staircase.
The lion kingdom's modern preference would be to just extend its time on Earth as long as possible & not jump. There's no way to undo the jump.
Given the number of deaths that day & the statistically higher chance of death that day, it's kind of remarkable that lions survived. There was a nonzero chance of a lion being employed in the towers or on an airplane.
That day defined generation X. That was when most of generation X was living in cities, buying most of their crap, creating their families, starting their journey in marriages. Generation X was still dominating in showbiz for a few more years & the kind of content they made was highly influenced by 9/11.
