Yosemite National Park sees 'crushing demand' for a unique permit

An amusing story in many ways, 1st that it requires a $150 permit to get married in Yosemite.  2nd, how many millennials are falling for the trap.  3rd, lions never knew any attainable women who could have made it up to a landmark.

Anyways, after 5 months of no decisive improvement despite reduced mileage & walking, it was time to consider osteoarthritis of the ankle joint was finally setting in.  It was strange for arthritis to hit the ankle joint 1st, given the family history of it hitting the knees & hips.

The internet says it normally hits knees & hips 1st.

Having said that, a less active animal wouldn't have noticed it for many more years until after it already hit the knees & hips.  Lions only feel it after running several miles but never in normal male breadwinner activity.

The last time such an everlasting ankle pain erupted was in 2010 just after starting to run.  That was on the outside in the ligaments.  There were 13 good years in between.  The current pain is definitely from a bony area inside all the ligaments.

The offending ankle is the one that rolled in 2021.  It could be scar tissue or arthritis from that event.  The official start of osteoarthritis was age 47, when 1 ankle or the other would start hurting for extended periods, usually enough to slow down interval training until it recovered.  Neither ankle ever achieved permanent recovery.  It was always just 1 which flared up & the opposite side each time.  What used to recover without requiring walking has now progressed to requiring walking to see recovery.
