Imagine what it was like in 1905 to see airports for the 1st time & ponder the idea of someone showing up at 1 of these air places to take a ride in the big machine.

 The big question is what eventually happens to Xena & Gabrielle after their gootube careers end.  1 option is they break up & dump the cabin.  Another option is they live happily ever after there.  Their gootube careers will end by 40.  Without a way to produce income as the vanwives, they'll probably break up like the Fabulous Baker Boys, in order to leave Nova Scotia & chase widely spaced corporate careers in the cities.

They'll probably move to US, like all Canadians.  Lions find still being in the cabin together at age 50 the least likely option because their relationship won't serve a purpose anymore.  By lion age, they'll probably fondly remember their times together.

 


The other thing lions noted was the weirdness of reading betterhelp commercials while not identifying as their physical genders.  Lions can think of no better example of betterhelp being worth the money than someone identifying as their physical gender.  Of course, identifying as one's species is a different matter.

Meanwhile in ankle & broad, the feeling is the latest regression came from the last speed work & not the 17 miler.  The idea would be to abandon speed work until race day & then shoot for a 12 minute pace.  The prospect for any long or fast efforts is not looking good until then.

Its theatric run over in 1 month, Project Hail Mary arrived on the hard drive in short order.   After running the Michael Jackson movie for just a week, the IMAX theater now seems to be derelict.  They could be reserving it for private screenings or it could be too expensive to operate. It's a growing number of movies which won't be available in blu ray.  Lions continued to be perplexed by the inferior quality of webrips.      Skimming through it, the resemblance to 80's depictions of the future was striking.         It was a time when the future was painted white & noodled.  Sometimes you have to go back to go forward.   Moving on, they made every effort to pack as much of the book in a 2:30 screening time as possible.  The shots are all very quick.  It was like watching normal movies at 2x.  The book being intended from the start to be a movie definitely helped.   Computer animated exterior s...
