It's not about the video as much as the comments.  Oh the legions of low status programmers who lived out their lives frequenting brothels & never had a relationship.  Sadly, like many brothels, this one seems to have had unscrupulous people managing it & closed.  The owner was just trying to get out of debt.  Once he had enough money, he split.

The confirmed bachelor commenters provide interesting examples of guys who are actually making money in the software business.  He's 12 years older than the lion kingdom but still working it seems.

Basically, replace ruby, swift, java with kotlin, pytorch, react.  The money is still in devops, mobile apps, web apps.  He seems to have quickly ditched the web app stuff for AI in recent times, just to make money.  You really can't do your own thing but have to constantly make your own what the industry has decided the current thing is.  You have to treat the industry like your boss & do what you're told when choosing new skills.

Lions will probably never go to a brothel for even a non sexual fetish.  The mane motivation now would be getting over someone, which lions don't expect to have to do again.  There isn't much emotional or sexual fulfillment to be had from an unattractive, paid stranger met in the last hour.  At most, it's a bucket list item.

They're all women who were too unattractive to become housewives & not smart enough to write software.  At the same time, they're smart enough to run their own businesses, get huge tax writeoffs, & make more per hour than any corporate employee.

 What lions think is happening is index funds are earning interest on large treasury positions.  They're putting the interest into stonks to manetain a constant allocation.  It's not millennials pouring money in the stonk market expecting lower interest rates.  Anyways, the next idea was revising the GUI to get rid of the drop shadows, decorations.  The modern trend is flat colors, but the trends have to change every 6 months for these corporations to stay in business. 1 idea that looked good was an apply button in the file dialog which would allow loading files from a bunch of directories or picking 1 file at a time without closing the window.  The trick is most files require building an index.  The file dialog would have to be frozen during the load process or it would have to be locked out of loading again.  It would be a functional but unpleasant experience. The biggest win right now would be repositioning the plugins to the top when there isn't an asset.
