The generation Z gootube continues to put out a lot more child prodigies & over achievers than the millennial gootube. LaurieWired is another one joining the ranks of child prodigies with AlbertaTech. The child prodigy category is the ones who are obviously gifted.
The over achiever category is Katherout, Taylor Bell, According to Nicole. They're not gifted but obviously worked as hard as gen X.
After 2 generations who were complaining about how poor
they were, gen Z is the 1st to brag about how much they have. They lived
with their parents until their mid 20's. They're not living above
their means. They really have a lot of money.
Was intrigued that LaurieWired went from FL state undergrad straight to
Goog & Microsoft instead of more traditional paths like MIT or a
master's. Getting into a top tier company just once was an impossible dream for lions, yet gootube prodigies did it multiple times, bouncing from 1 top tier company to another.
LaurieWired speaks at a high school level, cuts & pastes overused cliches, which makes lions suspect she skipped a lot of developmental stages. She's definitely under 18. To complete 4 years at Microsoft while still looking under 18, she might have been on an accelerated program.
In the past child prodigies, there was Vihart, but that generation all disappeared by 30. Millennials didn't have the level of prodigies we're seeing from generation Z. Despite all the time they've had to catch up, millennials still seem downright dumb.
Also noted gen Z reflects a richer version of their gen X parents. They're loners, but they never experienced hardship the way gen X did in Reality Bites or the stonk market crashes. They don't complain about their situation but tell everyone else to suck it up. Gen X complained but sucked it up. Millennials were the peak complainers who blamed the world for their problems.

The traditional top tier companies got brushed under the rug from 2010-2020 because of Elon. It was all about Tesla & SpaceX in those days. No-one wanted to work at the Goog & the Soft. Now that Elon is proving a difficult boss & his companies are proving unpleasant, the traditional top tier companies are getting a lot more popular, rising from the dead.
The lion kingdom would have to give up music to satisfy the commuting requirements in the top tier. It might require buying a new car sooner than later, but a new car is coming either way. It would be an adjustment but it was done before.
It's definitely worth considering going all in on leet coding because the compensation would be much better. They have annual raises, useful stonk options, & bonuses. A lowly 3% raise in today's $200k salaries would have produced measurable improvements in standard of living. Over the 5 years lions have stagnated in 1 startup, it would have been an additional $30k/year & kept ahead of the increase in 401k & social security limits. Instead, the rising 401k, social security portions have reduced the after tax income significantly.
On the other paw, commuting to a top tier company would burn many hours & cost a new car.
