The industry seems to have begun a new push for the general purpose robot.  Lions are about as skeptical as natural languages for programming & full self driving ever being idiot proof. 

The general purpose robot is pretty much what animals have striven for from the beginning, a single tool that does everything.  There have been more general purpose tools than others.  They win engagement until the next single purpose tool is invented & they start pondering how to replace the new single purpose tool with a general purpose tool. 

Lion studies of legged robots showed wheels are far ahead in most applications.  Energy storage is the mane problem.  Legs are only advantageous in off road travel.

Ben Heck called Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996) Disney's most progressive movie.  Strangely no note about it on the blog.  Heroine saving the hunchback was the only scene lions remembered.  Lions only watched it because the real Notre Dame burned down but it was forgettable.  It was a man who eventually saved the hunchback.  They didn't go all the way with the heroine.

A new Mufasa copy was uploaded in Feb.  This one was definitely better & good enough to watch.  The modern stream rips are nowhere close to the blu ray rips of long ago.  It's hard to believe user recordable BD's were discontinued while some pre recorded media is still being produced.  The historic trend was always for user recordable media to outlive pre recorded media.  There's no rationale for any format besides flash.

The lion kingdom's stash of DVD-R is never going to be used.  There's no rationale for ever going through the effort to burn just 8 gigs when that much flash is free, yet lions still can't completely dismiss their DVD robot investment.  With so much effort nowadays spent on programming purely to pass job interviews & for programming's sake rather than to solve any problems, an effort in building a robot purely to build a robot isn't totally wasted by today's standards.  25 years ago, it was definitely a waste.  That shows much much standards have changed.

Mufasa is the story of how James Earl Jones grew up with scar becoming the antagonist.  There is much mane footage.







Antagonists become unexpected allies.  The bad guys grow white manes.




Sort of a goofy explanation of Scar's scar.  Because scar eventually killed Darth Vader, it didn't fit to have scar save Darth.  It would have been more natural for the antagonist to outright turn on Scar. 



The eye candy made lions ponder if modern landscapes are still being generated deterministically or by AI.  There have been 3D landscape generators for 30 years.  They use random numbers.  Unity famously has landscape painting tools.

 What lions think is happening is index funds are earning interest on large treasury positions.  They're putting the interest into stonks to manetain a constant allocation.  It's not millennials pouring money in the stonk market expecting lower interest rates. High interest rates are pushing up stonks like the 90's.  Millennials are taking money out of the stonk market to buy houses & pay their mortgages.  Important reminder that lions would only barely get by & be fairly unhappy if they retired now, drained their savings to buy a house, & couldn't afford a lot of things they hoped to have.  Lions don't expect to have the coordination required to play it, when the time comes.  Maybe they could just play chords.  Would definitely have to learn how to tune it & regulate it.  Don't kid yourself.  US is a 1 party system.  Unless something is drastically wrong with the 1 campaign, they always vote democrat.  Even as bad as H-Rod was, they still voted for her. Ordering renters to provide $25,000 subsidies to new home owners is basically ordering them to pay what was an entire down payment 20 years ago.  Surely if they could afford these entitlements for home owers, they would have bought houses themselves.  They formerly required the high school dropouts to pay $50,000 in student loan forgiveness to Harvard graduates.   LESBIAN HOTTIE   Suspect the brunette can't control her cheek muscles because she has such a speech distortion & she  always has at least some of a smile when serious.  A virus can do that but normally only temporarily.
