1st time in at least 11 years lions ran to BARF to go to the city. It was 21 miles in total. There wasn't enough time to go all the way to fort point as planned. It was too crowded to run on Columbus & the usual viewing spot was too crowded to show up just in time. The only restroom without a line was a lone outhouse by crissy field.
Being the 1st clear night in 10 years, far less alternative shows still remaneing, & a lot of population growth, it was super crowded.
Packed just the phone & mini tripod.
The tripod ended up fully extended as a motion damper, since there wasn't any place to set it down. This worked quite well. It might have been smoother than cranking the tripod to move the camera around.
Had the phone with no stabilization, lowest EV compensation, locked focus, minimum screen brightness. With enough color processing, it looked better than anything else lions got in the last 25 years. It was sharper than any of the DSLR's. The gopros were too wide.
The mane drawback was lack of bass in the audio. Higher end videos zoom in on the individual explosions.

Always thought extreme downhills were the only way most BQ's were obtained so the new rule is just a form of belt tightening. As a 5 hour marathoner, the BQ affair is just a spectator sport anyway, just like commenting on AI, blockchain, VR, self driving cars, online dating.
The decision was made to record ballad #4 over multiple days & probably split up most shorter pieces over multiple days.
When it's 1 of the greatest creations of the light of consciousness, only multiple days for every 5 minutes will do.
