Lions don't believe any more population growth on Earth is possible. The only way to sustain all the entitlement programs is higher productivity from a smaller population. The problem is most of the births aren't very high achievers.
Lions were never a good candidate for reproduction because of deformations caused by genetics & anxiety attacks. Neither would any sperm bank accept their sperm. Lions were excused from that standpoint, if not the fact that only 50% of men ever had relationships & the competition was extremely high net worth, polyamorous compared to somewhere like Wisconsin.

Ski lift memories:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFNOH6I4UmM
The chairs were all nailed into the rope by a horizontal wedge, 40 years ago. They ran as fast as possible & the empty chairs swung out as they rounded the wheel. The stations were dead simple exposed wheels with a motor.
Getting on was quite the swing ride & the poor fool sitting in the middle didn't have anything to grab onto. It was quite cumbersome with your poles & skis to get into position.
If you didn't get off with exquisite timing right when the chair reached the ramp, you were going for a ride. Clumsy, 5 ft tall young lion stopped many chair lifts, but at least the ticket was only $30. By our last ski trip in 1988, decoupling lifts started to appear & they were luxurious.
Seem to recall the last one being in fall 1988. We had dinner on the drive up, in a place with a fascinating arcade cabinet, while it rained. It was showing intro animation for what seemed to be a street fighter variant in a castle. They were moving so many pixels, young lion pondered if they evolved beyond the C64 programming model.
Lions never enjoyed skiing. The cold, the full body suit, the boots, driving in the snow, the cost, the moguls were all difficult. Eating & pissing in that full body suit were difficult. The weather was usually snowing & that was brutal to ski in.
It since became a very expensive sport, even more expensive than destination races.

War, baby. That was quite a strut for a political dignitary, but he's a TV host. They definitely have coaching on how to walk on camera. They also work out.
In real life, he was in the army. The army reminds most animals of Bill Murray, always bringing up the rear. No-one goes to the army marathon.
