A series of LTVA videos got lions pondering if large van cities are the only viable housing solution. The mane features about quartzsite are a mobile commercial area which supplies all the needs of the mobile residential area & it being walkable. The mane limitation is the 7 month time limit for residents. That could be overcome if the van cities constantly move.
Van cities are limited to BLM land & most of the BLM land is useless southwest desert land. Everything else is a national park or agriculture. Lions can only hope no use for the useless land is found, like solar farms or mining.
Water is 25 cents per gallon & showers have to be paid for. The lion kingdom's water bill is now $60/month, manely for manual dish washing & showering. They would most certainly need a dishwasher. They're not saving anything on food. Jeeper paid $15 for a small burger. It's real expensive out there.
The big enabler of van cities in the last 15 years seems to be shrinking gadgets, cheap solar panels & batteries. 40 years ago, a big TV, VHS collection, CD collection, books were all essential. Most animals don't need a 3000 sq ft house for that anymore. They still are less efficient than permanent cities because they don't have as much insulation, can't pool resources or recycle water. They're not paying property tax so someone else needs to pay for the defense of the city.
The lion kingdom would have to give up everything physical & just create intellectual output. A van would still need enough space for the 3D printer to make parts. Lions aren't happy unless they're creating something at least some of the time.
Wandering jeeper is 1 of many channels which only got bearable because of higher speed playback. She needs closer to 3x. Sitting through extremely slow videos while watching time run out is 1 thing which gives lions anxiety.

Definitely not a silicon valley hookup. Helas, lions just aren't into noises which don't obey music theory. Animals are hard wired for certain tone patterns the same way they're hard wired for certain gender roles. She got lions wondering if that machine could produce any 12 tone music at all. Even birds have tones.
Lions pondered if that machine could be hacked to take input from a modern MIDI controller.

Another heroine college composer was Pauline Oliveros. She made some pieces about the now dried out pond on the east side of the music building, Alien Bog, Beautiful Soop. They used the machine in Canadian hottie's vijeo.
Nothing in it sounds like heroine warriors. There's some minimal form of polyphony & structure, at least. This kind of music is good for movie backgrounds. It's pretty much KPFA's midnight playlist.
It seems the key factor in synthetic instruments is a tactile interface rather than a GUI. Lions had dreams of synthetic ASMR.
