A living breathing online dater who lost his fortune to a scam. Thought they didn't exist. They used to just fall for fake positions of authority, requesting anonymous deposits. Authority figure scams work because animals are programmed for obedience. 1 of the only online dating encounters lions had was with a scammer. He quickly gave up.
It could happen to someone really desperate or in an asian culture which hits hard on marriage as rite of passage. Maybe a 15 year old lion could have fallen in love to the point of losing his fortune but not after 50.
As long as lions are sane, a scam is not likely to work anymore because they know too well how the social order works. Once you know it's all based on status, just how stressful it is on the breadwinner, & can afford paid encounters, love is never what it was again.

The answer is yes, a doubly linked list can be compressed by xoring the prev & next pointers in a single value. Xor with the prev pointer to get the next pointer. Xor with the next pointer to get the prev pointer. It's no longer possible to search the list from the middle but could be useful in an underpowered microcontroller.
