Principal recording finally ended on Escenas Romanticas, after 4.5 months.  Many days of lens correction, color timing, sound synchronization, camera switching, edit tweeking remane.  

Recording has evolved to a process like movie making over the last 40 years.  Gone were the days of recording an entire piece in a day.  Then the days of recording multiple pages in a day ended.  A week had to be dedicated to just the 1 climax in the allegro, trying to get the crosspaw smoother.  Lions still had misgivings about allegro page 3.  Recording it in the daytime didn't go as well as night, yet the daytime recording represented more practice.  Lions just don't seem to be as focused in the daytime. 

 That was the 1st in a long Granados cycle which began in July 2025.  It was the most copyright trolled video lions ever made.  At least 5 users claimed it.  2 difficult Goyescas pieces & 1 dance remane.


 Every video now gets dozens of AI generated copyright trolls. An actually monetizable channel trying to figure out what are real claims & what are spray & pray must be a full time job. 20 years ago, it was just 1, always UMG & the claims were generated by a human which limited the fake ones.

They disable channels who protest too many copyright claims, so the answer has been to just create more fake copyright owners & file more claims.

 Rameau: Les sauvages got the lion kingdom thinking about unknown baroque pieces again.  There's something nostalgic & melancholy about some of those pieces, the era when music theory was not fully understood.  No matter how simple, they would still be full time jobs.

Most of the music from those days was intended as elevator music of the day.  It has all been replaced by AI in the last 3 years.

Mendelssohn - Rondo Capriccioso was another one bubbling to the top, since lions never found a recording as good as Kev Kenner & that one was pretty low quality.

  Listened to the 1960 BBC recording of the tempest play & noted how all the women sounded dominant.  It occurred that stage actors had to project their voices in the days before sound reinforcement & this made the women all sound dominant.  Can't teach an old lion new tricks.

Hamilton & Wicked had the advantage of sound reinforcement, which led to much more submissive voices.  Hamilton himself would not have cut it without sound reinforcement.

 Sadly, couldn't decipher any more of Shake than 40 years ago.  Gathered it was concurrently showing the forsaken brother dreaming, describing a contest with his chosen brother for the crown, while showing the chosen brother arriving at the island, believing it was inhabited by a monster.  Lions manely know the story from Forbidden Planet.

 All this talk of Shakespeare got lions dreaming about Ego Monger.  Those were some impractical lions, long ago.

Its theatric run over in 1 month, Project Hail Mary arrived on the hard drive in short order.   After running the Michael Jackson movie for just a week, the IMAX theater now seems to be derelict.  They could be reserving it for private screenings or it could be too expensive to operate.
