The lion kingdom's bulk order of balsa 20 years ago was never used.
The coroplast was last used in 2020 for the weather station.
It's time to get serious about using up the last of the last 26 years of building materials. The retirement account has remaned on track to end this party in 4 years. Helas, the inverter is going to require new coroplast.

You must make this much to ride this ride. Never forget the hottie who waited until 38 so she could bang a double masters or the number of child births being delayed until after 40 for higher male income. Male income premium doesn't apply to the top 1%.

Sutro cam made avoiding the city a no brainer. Always a 1% chance a cold front could break it up in 5 hours but life is a gamble.
It would be the lion kingdom's last show in Pleasanton.

The last DSLR video was in 2016, using manely the same gear planned for today.
15mm 1/30 sec F2.8 ISO 200 Maximum saturation Binaural electret condenser mic
Those settings produced decent colors while blowing out the grand finale.
Lions would be using the cheap 17mm lens, 60fps, paw holding it to try to get some views of the mob. The cheap lens is slightly darker than rated. The higher frame rate adds another stop.
Based on the 2025 phone video, lions would try 1/60, F 2.8, ISO 200. Audio would be auto gain, since that gets a fatter sound from fireworks.
Pondered getting a longer exposure to show the street mob. The best results would entail a tripod. There could be an exposure change in the middle of the show.
The 2025 video entailed using the 1st few seconds to adjust the phone exposure on the fly.

Ended up using 17mm 1/60 F2.8 ISO 1600 60fps. Didn't use image stabilization to try to get the widest view. Used maximum saturation & maximum sharpness.
Exposure had to be dialed in after the show started, since the lens was much darker than expected. Also had trouble finding the microphone connector, since lions could no longer see up close.
Manual focus was impossible. The only way to do it was wait for the show & lock autofocus on a burst, hoping it worked. There's no focusing aid when it's recording.
Auto gain worked well. Adding 6db after the recording made it fatter. The bursts clipped no matter what. Sadly, the external electret condenser pair has come down with a case of nasty interference. It was manely masked but it's definitely there.
That was the best picture quality lions ever got, even without image stabilization. The finale didn't white out. The dots were clearly defined. That lens is really sharp. It looked like 4k. 60fps felt like being there.
Despite the power lines, 715 Rose Ave remanes 1 of the best viewing spots lions ever had, right under them. Nothing else was that close. It might have been better from 755. Stadium of fire from University Ave might have been better. Lions went to another Pleasanton show on July 6, long ago, but nothing is going to be as big as merica 250 again. The night traffic today was the most ever seen.
It's not independence day until mile 18. It was an 18.6 mile round trip. Lions needed the water bottle & glucose to do it. Bladder risks meant not fueling until near the end, which made it slow going.

Meanwhile, there were a few copies of the world record Washington DC show from the same potato quality video feed, in varying quality, with varying watermarks. They didn't get the B-1 flyover which kicked it off. There was only 1 phone video of part of it.

A paw held phone video from the opposite side of the river & closer. That guy got an arm workout. The best spot definitely wasn't near the stage. Still only got 3 of the 8 barges. All 8 were only visible from the stage.
In terms of number of bursts in the shortest time, it was the largest show in history. In terms of number of bursts in any amount of time, it probably still was, but by a smaller margin. It was estimated around $7M.A comparable show lions could travel to in short notice might have been Las Vegas.
Most of the internet currently online will be alive for merica 300. The lion kingdom probably won't or won't be mentally aware.
