 Besides senioritis, other trends from college have returned after 50.  Lions noted working part time instead of borrowing was what the over achievers did in college & the path to success.  Working part time after retirement is now being seen as a similar path to success, as if our college phase was starting over again.  

The abundance of gootubers worth many millions yet continuing to work after retirement was the 1st big sign that the part time working, college over achievers were coming back for retirement.  Instead of uploading copyrighted music & producing value, they choose to jump all the hoops for monetization, produce rehashed click bait, comply with AI art requirements.

 It definitely feels like the desire for a higher standard of living is going to create the same hierarchy of over achievers & slackers in retirement as college.  Working in retirement is going to be a new rite of passage.

 At the same time, in the last 15 years, a minimalism trend started gaining traction on the internet.  Before then, achievement was symbolized by working more & consuming more.

Another Morgan drive ascent at 10 minutes/mile.  Noted a nasty integral windup.  Hamstring started getting seizing sensations after only 2 miles.  They went away after mane feeding.

The death of Peter Cullen triggered another search for his end credits moment in season 3 & the discovery that the full season was on the hard drive but the end credits voiceover was gone.

There was an EDL which increased the bass. The lion kingdom must never have rendered it.  The gootube just has potato quality, but it was all reused footage from the movie.

The internet now has that segment as a commercial, but it was really inserted before the end credits. Lions didn't see the movie until after season 3, so it was all foreign.

Lions didn't know Peter Cullen was still alive, after the 2000's.  The death 1 month before the 40th movie anniversary was a stunner.

Helas, based on the 9 seconds of dialog lions have from 2018, he was pretty far gone after 75.

 Handling the demise of binary software is becoming more important.  Goog Earth is 1 for which there is no replacement.  Quake 2 eventually became un runnable but it was more of a curiosity.  Lions didn't try Tomb Raider II for windows in many decades.

The effect of the AI boom & amazing abundance has really been amazing scarcity & software just disappearing.  Not just hardware is running out, but software is being discontinued to focus more capital on just AI datacenters, so we're told.  

It's not clear where all the capital is really going since the price increases have been going on since bitcoin.  Bitcoin was blamed for runaway GPU prices.  Then it was COVID.  Then it was AI.  But there has never been any product.  There was no bitcoin revolution, no return of any parts that COVID discontinued, no amazing abundance from 4 years of AI buildup.  Everything's been taken down.  Lions suspect all the cash is going to CEO pockets, never to be seen again & the datacenter buildup of the last 4 years is bullshit.

 To keep the last binaries going, it's going to take either a bag of vintage linux installations or a stroke of luck with containers.  GPU support in any virtualization has always been sketchy.

Its theatric run over in 1 month, Project Hail Mary arrived on the hard drive in short order.   After running the Michael Jackson movie for just a week, the IMAX theater now seems to be derelict.  They could be reserving it for private screenings or it could be too expensive to operate. It's a growing number of movies which won't be available in blu ray.  Lions continued to be perplexed by the inferior quality of webrips.      Skimming through it, the resemblance to 80's depictions of the future was striking.         It was a time when the future was painted white & noodled.  Sometimes you have to go back to go forward.   Moving on, they made every effort to pack as much of the book in a 2:30 screening time as possible.  The shots are all very quick.  It was like watching normal movies at 2x.  The book being intended from the start to be a movie definitely helped.   Computer animated exterior s...
