 An inside facing cabin would work, since lions were more interested in touring land than the ocean.  It would still be quite expensive to travel to the starting point.  

It's slim pickings from San Francisco.  For $3k, they go to a remote port in Canadia by legal mandate & then the very southern panhandle of Alaska instead of Alaska proper.  Too far south to see a real glacier, though Greenspun said they go ashore.

$7k & up, not even countable in fiat money.  Cheaper in the dead of winter.

This travel thing might be getting out of paw.  Lions have escalated spending over the decades, starting with a dumpy motel in Burbank, 2012, slowly escalating to a super expensive hotel in 2025.  Childhood was exclusively dumpy motels, with only 1 memory of an upscale condo in 1984.  It was a ski trip to Northstar.  The next ski trip was a dumpy motel room in bear valley.

Seeing the world was something the parents never did.  Going to Europe, Australia, Hawaii was never even a concept unless they won it in a contest.  They went to Hawaii from a contest.

During college & many years afterwards, there was no self funded traveling besides a few day trips.

 The influencers & stud muffins who pay for these trips are in a different league, but lions suspect the competition from polyamorous billionaires forces average men here to spend way beyond their means to produce the same luxury as a billionaire.  Being surrounded by that kind of wealth changes standards.  The average seer sucking summer liberal hottie either went for a polyamorous billionaire or only the average men who over extended the most.

 It's surprising Tech Lead didn't lose his shirt trying to retain his wife.  He burned a lot traveling to Japan but somehow stayed over 2 commas.

 After 29 years of invoking 1 dialog for each effect, multiple effect selection finally arrived.  The big problem was always defining the order, but it eventually seemed plausible for the user to remember the order in a multiple select operation without any visual indication.

 The mane wrinkle is it can't select multiple effects when changing an existing plugin.  The user can select a shared module or track in addition to a standalone effect, but it's not handling infinite recursion.

Support for realtime effects arrived in fall 1997.  It was a magical moment when it was new for a UNIX box.  There was really nothing but command line bare decoding in those days.  It's been 1 dialog per effect all those years, usually a reverb & compressor after every single file load.

 Because it's a spectator sport, no-one knows what the hell the lion kingdom is showing unless it says Cinelerra in the screenshot somewhere.

Its theatric run over in 1 month, Project Hail Mary arrived on the hard drive in short order.   After running the Michael Jackson movie for just a week, the IMAX theater now seems to be derelict.  They could be reserving it for private screenings or it could be too expensive to operate. It's a growing number of movies which won't be available in blu ray.  Lions continued to be perplexed by the inferior quality of webrips.      Skimming through it, the resemblance to 80's depictions of the future was striking.         It was a time when the future was painted white & noodled.  Sometimes you have to go back to go forward.   Moving on, they made every effort to pack as much of the book in a 2:30 screening time as possible.  The shots are all very quick.  It was like watching normal movies at 2x.  The book being intended from the start to be a movie definitely helped.   Computer animated exterior s...
